Alper Yıldırım is a visual communication designer, educator and researcher working across information design, moving image, interactive media and game design.

He holds an MA degree in Information Design from Sint-Lukas Brussels (2014), an MFA degree in Media and Design (2012) and a BFA in Graphic Design (2009), both from Bilkent University.

He currently teaches part-time in the Visual Communication Design departments at TED University and TOBB University of Economics and Technology. He has previously taught at Bilkent University.

His professional and academic practice combines visual communication, cultural heritage, information systems and interactive storytelling. His artistic work brings together video, photography, sound, installation and interactive media, and has been exhibited and screened internationally at museums, galleries and festivals.

He co-founded Table Collective in 2018, an independent art and music initiative organising performances, exhibitions, forums and cultural events.
