Art Direction and Directing
Derived from the idea based on the simple fact that every individual has a right to participate in the cultural life, Accessible Film Festival started its journey in 2013. The purpose was, and still is, to state that the conditions are need to be arranged for disabled individuals for their right to engage in social and cultural activities like anyone else.
All of the screenings, workshops and other side events during the festival are organized to be accessible by all so that individuals with disabilities can watch movies together with their loved ones and participate in cultural and social events. AFF believes, by this way, not only those individuals will benefit, but also the society in which they are part of will also benefit in terms of creative, artistic and intellectual capacity.
