The “Labour market services and technical vocational education and training” project of GIZ in Turkey aims to improve the economic and employment prospects of Syrian refugees and members of the host community in Turkey. Among its achievements, more than 3,300 vocational students are already benefiting from better equipped vocational schools and nearly 300 teachers have been trained to further their competencies. In addition, the schools provide space for new friendships to blossom between Syrian and Turkish youth.
